VinFast Expands in India: 32 Dealerships Launched Across 27 Cities with 35 Targeted by 2025

VinFast, the rapidly growing Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has made a powerful entry into the Indian market by partnering with 13 major automobile dealer groups to launch 32 new dealerships across 27 cities. This strategic move is a major step toward its ambitious goal of establishing 35 dealerships by the end of 2025, strengthening its footprint in one of the world’s fastest-growing EV markets.
Strategic Dealer Partnerships
VinFast’s dealership network spans across key metropolitan and Tier-2 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad, and Pune. The 13 dealer groups onboard include some of India’s most respected names in automotive retail, bringing valuable local market experience and established customer networks to VinFast’s operations.
This partnership model allows VinFast to scale operations quickly while maintaining localized customer service and support. With plans to expand further, the company is focusing on high-quality customer experiences, from test drives to EV servicing.
Commitment to the Indian EV Market
VinFast’s aggressive push into India is aligned with the Indian government’s strong EV promotion policies and increasing consumer demand for sustainable mobility. The company is not just setting up dealerships but also investing in charging infrastructure, customer service centers, and logistics hubs to support the growing EV ecosystem.
In addition, VinFast has already broken ground on its EV manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu, a $500 million project that will further solidify its presence in India and support local production.
What This Means for Indian Consumers
With these dealerships now operational, Indian consumers will gain access to VinFast’s full portfolio of electric vehicles, known for their modern designs, advanced features, and competitive pricing. The company is expected to offer both electric cars and scooters, catering to a wide range of customer segments.
Early reports suggest that VinFast will provide aggressive pricing, long battery warranties, and strong after-sales support to attract buyers in a price-sensitive market.
