Squid Game Season 3 Official Trailer | Shocking Betrayals, Deadly Games & a Mysterious Baby

The trailer for Squid Game Season 3 is here, and it looks darker and more intense than ever. This final season has a big confrontation between Player 456 (Seong Gi-hun) and the mysterious Front Man, something fans have been waiting for since Season 2 ended so shockingly.

The trailer starts with a new, creepy version of the famous “Red Light, Green Light” game. Right away, you remember how terrifying it was in Season 1.

We see Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae) still hurting after his friend Jung Bae died. He’s angry and asks the guards over and over, “Why didn’t you kill me? Why did you keep me alive?” But no one answers—only the Front Man’s unsettling smile greets him.

Next, we see short clips of new, more dangerous games. One of them brings back the fear of heights that we didn’t see in Season 2. That giant doll, Young Hee, appears again but in a different way, hinting she might have a new role.

There’s also a twisted version of the Tug of War game from Season 1. This time, it looks even more brutal and mentally upsetting.

One of the most talked-about scenes shows a strange children’s room, just like what was teased in the posters. The walls are scribbled with what look like crayon drawings, giving it a very eerie feel.

The trailer hints at a disturbing story about an unborn baby. It might be connected to Yim Si-wan’s character, and this baby could test how much the players are willing to sacrifice their humanity.

The big moment is Gi-hun facing off against the Front Man (played by Lee Byung-hun). In a tense scene, the masked Front Man asks, “Player 456, do you still have faith in people?”

Squid Game Season 3 will be available on Netflix starting June 27, 2025. The show is still created, written, directed, and produced by Hwang Dong-hyuk, who has led the series from the start.
